Orange English tea scones instructions

  1. Sieve flour, baking powder, icing sugar together. Pre-heat your oven up to 220 degrees. Add orange zest to the flour, then butter.
  2. Rub in together to fine crumbs using your hands, squeeze 1/2 orange into the milk.
  3. Add orange oil into the milk and stir, now add the orange milk to the flour and knead to a soft dough....leave it for 5-10mins.
  4. Place your dough on a flour dusted surface, knead lightly then roll to 1inch thickness, cut to your desired shape.
  5. Grease and align your baking tray, arrange your scones, egg wash and bake for 20-25 mins.
